Biography of Rowan Atkinson

          Comic actor and writer Rowan Atkinson starred on the TV series Not the Nine O'clock News and Blackadder. He is best known for his infamous role as Mr. Bean in the television series and 1997 feature film of the same name.

English actor, comedian and screenwriter Rowan Atkinson was born January 6, 1955, Consett, County Durham, England. In 1979, Atkinson wrote for and starred in the BBC's Not the Nine O'clock News. His later landed a role on the television series Blackadderand subsequent spin-off TV specials. In 1990, he starred as his originally developed character Mr. Bean on the televison series of the same name. Mr. Bean was adapted for film in 1997, and received wide success.

Background

Comic actor and writer Rowan Sebastian Atkinson was born on January 6, 1955, in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England. Rowan Atkinson is most famous for his roles in classic sitcoms, including Blackadder and Mr. Bean.

Atkinson studied at Newcastle University and Oxford University, and earned a master's degree in electrical engineering. He got his start performing sketches while studying at Oxford, first appearing in Oxford revues at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Soon, he was entertaining at several theater clubs and on comedy shows for BBC Radio 3. In 1979, Atkinson wrote for and starred in the BBC's Not the Nine O'clock News. In 1981, Atkinson became the youngest performer to have had a one-man show in the West End.

Atkinson later appeared in theatrical productions like The Nerd (1984), The New Revue (1986) and The Sneeze (1988). He then landed parts on such television shows as Not the Nine O'Clock News (1979-82), Blackadder (1983-89) The Thin Blue Line (1995-96) and Mr. Bean (1990-95). The success of Blackadder spurred the creation of the TV specials Blackadder's Christmas Carol and Blackadder: The Cavalier Years—both of which aired in 1988.

In 1990, Atkinson starred as his originally developed character Mr. Bean on the TV series of the same name. The successful comedy series was adapted for film in 1997. Atkinson reprised his famous Mr. Bean character in a comedy sketch at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Atkinson's other film credits include Bean: the Ultimate Disaster Movie (1997), Johnny English (2003) and Keeping Mum (2005).

Marriage and children

Rowan Atkinson was in a relationship with actress Leslie Ash in the 1980. He married Sunetra Sastry in February 1990. They have two children, Ben and Lily. The couple first met in the late 1980, when she was working as a makeup artist with the BBC. They split in 2014 and were divorced on 10 November 2015. Atkinson has been in a relationship with Louise Ford since 2014.

Politics

In June 2005, Atkinson led a coalition of the United Kingdom's most prominent actors and writers, including Nicholas Hytner, Stephen Fry, and Ian McEwan, to the British Parliament in an attempt to force a review of the controversial Racial and Religious Hatred Bill, which they felt would give overwhelming power to religious groups to impose censorship on the arts. In 2009, he criticized homophobic speech legislation, saying that the House of Lords must vote against a government attempt to remove a free speech clause in an anti-gay hate law.

In October 2012, he voiced his support for the Reform Section 5 campaign, which aims to reform or repeal Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986, particularly its statement that an insult can be grounds for arrest and punishment. It is a reaction to several recent high-profile arrests, which Atkinson sees as a restriction of freedom of expression.

My Favorite Place

          Mecca is home of god. Mecca is a very holy place. Mecca is place where people carry out umra and hajj. Hajj is usually conducted in Julhijjah. Muslims are required to doing hajj, who are able. There are many who can speak Indonesia language, particulary of sale, don't be strange when exit the door Nabawi mosque will be heard Arab people say "kerudung bagus, kerudung bagus hanya lima real saja".
          If we pray outside Nabawi mosque, no Indonesia language text that essentially "batas terdepan untuk shalat" which signifies that it is at forefront of Nabawi imam and we couldn't pray more than that.
          At Nabawi mosque contained the umbrellas. When the temperature is hot, the umbrellas will be open. When the temperature is cold, the umbrellas will be closed.
          There we met with people abroad such as African people. The purpose of we went to mecca is seek reward and we can connect with other Muslims at there.

Megantara

          SMAN 3 Bandung held an event, the event is MEGANTARA. MEGANTARA is the event to preserve the culture of archipelago. MEGANTARA is held at Bali Field. In this event, there is various food of archipelago, the game of archipelago, and then there is musical instrument of Java Island. In MEGANTARA, the committee is divided into several sections. The committee are the logistic committee, the decoration committee, food festival committee, the steering committee, etc. Extracurricular of SMAN 3 Bandung who performed at this event are KPA3 (Keluarga Paduan Angklung SMAN 3 Bandung), Band3 (Band of SMAN 3 Bandung), MK3 (Musik Klasik SMAN 3 Bandung), T'sT (Tiloe's Teater). KANST is extracurricular of SMAN 3 Bandung who oversee the safety during the event. The guest star of MEGANTARA is The Changcuters and Ran. 

          I'm part of food festival committee. In food festival there is 17 stand and 6 foodtruck. The stand are stand of Java Island, Sumatera Island, Sulawesi Island, Kalimantan Island, and Papua Island. The foodtruck are bakso balap (yamin noodle and meatball), cireng giling nyinden , breadpit (bread with ice cream), bobogi (beverages of pure milk and fresh drinks) and eaglo (burger). I as LO foodtruck, the foodtruck is breadpit. The committee of MEGANTARA got a shirt, the color is maroon.

          The night before I slept at my friend house, at dago. Why I slept at my friend house? Because my house is far from Bali Field, my house is at Ujung Berung. The night before MEGANTARA, I was in Bali Field until at half eleven at night. Because loading in, the foodtruck entry to Bali Field. After that me and my friend went to her house. After arriving home, me and my friend brush teeth and prayer Isya, after finished we are going to sleep. 

          Tomorrow day is the day when MEGANTARA is held. At 5am, me and my friend wake up then took a bath and prayer Subuh. Finish prepared at 6am, then we are going to Bali Field. On that day, at 8am for people who aren't the commitee of MEGANTARA must came to Bali Field and for a girl wear a  kebaya. Open gate the event at 11.35 am. At 1pm there is fashion show, who follow the fashion show must wear local clothes and attended by Mayor of Bandung is Mr. Ridwan Kamil. At 4 o'clock at afternoon is close gate. At half 3pm  until 5pm, axtracurricular of SMAN 3 Bandung is appear. At 7pm, the guest star appear on the stage, the guest star is The Changcuters. The Changcuters sing a several song including Hijrah ke London, I Love U Bibeh, Gila-Gilaan, etc.

And then at half 9 at night, one more the guest star is Ran. At there Ran sing a several song too, including Dekat di Hati, Begitu Saja, Pandangan Pertama, etc. 

          The festival was attended so many people, and this event was very crowded. I'm very fun at there met my friend. MEGANTARA ended succesfully.
